YOUR INFORMATION & YOUR CHOICES

Privacy Policy

How personal information is collected, used, and shared when you shop with Outloud Merch.

Outloud Merch, operated by DOANUYEN Ecom LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), is responsible for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy. This policy applies to outloudmerch.com and communications with our customer support team.

1. Information we collect

The information involved depends on how you interact with our store:

  • Contact and delivery information: your name, email address, telephone number, and billing and shipping addresses when you place an order or contact us.
  • Order and transaction information: items purchased, selected sizes and colors, order value, payment status, transaction references, delivery details, and return or refund records.
  • Customer support information: messages and photos you provide when asking a question or reporting a problem.
  • Account information, if you create an account: account identifiers, saved details, and order history.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, request logs, and session information generated when your device connects to the website. Additional tracking depends on the tools described in Section 5.

We receive information directly from you, through your interaction with the website, and from payment and delivery providers reporting transaction or shipment status. Please do not send full payment card numbers, passwords, or unnecessary identity documents by email.

2. How we use information

  • Process payments, produce or arrange fulfillment of your items, and deliver orders.
  • Send order confirmations, shipping updates, and other purchase-related messages.
  • Respond to inquiries and manage replacements, returns, and refunds.
  • Operate customer accounts where available and maintain the shopping cart and checkout.
  • Detect suspicious transactions, investigate technical issues, and protect the website.
  • Maintain business records, meet legal obligations, and handle disputes.

If we offer marketing subscriptions, we use the preferences you provide and obtain consent where required. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those messages or by contacting us. Essential order and support messages are separate from marketing.

3. Payment information

We use PayPal and Stripe to process payments. Depending on the payment method you select, the relevant provider processes payment details and related billing, transaction, and technical information to complete your purchase, authenticate payments, prevent fraud, and meet its legal obligations.

We receive transaction information needed to confirm your order, check payment status, handle disputes, and issue refunds. The information processed by each provider depends on the payment method and service used. Their own privacy notices explain their processing practices and your available choices.

Please do not send full card numbers, card security codes, or payment account passwords to our support email.

4. When information is shared

To complete your purchase and operate the store, relevant information is shared with service providers performing the following functions:

  • Payment processing: transaction authorization, payment confirmation, fraud checks, and refunds.
  • Production and fulfillment: preparing your purchased items and arranging dispatch.
  • Delivery: transporting packages and providing shipment updates using the recipient details needed for delivery.
  • Store operations: website hosting, technical support, security, and email delivery.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, or to establish or defend legal claims. If the business is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, relevant records may be transferred subject to applicable privacy requirements.

Where analytics or advertising technologies are enabled, participating providers may receive technical and browsing information as described in Section 5. The rights that apply to these disclosures depend on the activity and applicable law.

5. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Our WordPress and WooCommerce store uses cookies and similar technologies to support your shopping experience. Cookies are small files stored on your device. Some expire when you close your browser, while others remain for a specified period or until you delete them.

  • Essential cookies: support shopping cart contents, active shopping sessions, checkout, account login where used, and security.
  • Preference cookies: where enabled, remember settings and choices to make repeat visits more convenient.
  • Analytics cookies: where enabled, help measure website traffic, page use, and performance so we can understand how visitors interact with the store.
  • Advertising cookies: where used, help measure promotional campaigns and support relevant advertising. These technologies may disclose device identifiers and browsing activity to the participating providers.

PayPal and Stripe may also use cookies or similar technologies when their payment services are loaded or used, including for authentication and fraud prevention. Their privacy notices linked above explain their practices.

Where legally required, optional analytics and advertising cookies are used only with your consent. Where a cookie preference tool is available, you can use it to accept, reject, or change optional cookie settings and withdraw consent. You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect checkout, login, or cart functionality.

Browser cookie settings alone may not prevent every form of data sharing. Where applicable law gives you the right to opt out of targeted advertising or disclosures considered a sale or sharing of personal information, contact us at support@outloudmerch.com to exercise that right. Applicable legally recognized opt-out preferences will be handled as required by law. Using the website or reading this policy does not, by itself, constitute consent to optional tracking.

6. Data retention

Retention depends on the purpose of the information. Order and payment records may need to be retained for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, and dispute handling. Support records are retained as needed to resolve inquiries and related claims. Account information is retained while needed to provide the account and meet any continuing legal obligations.

When information is no longer needed for its purpose or a legal requirement, it should be deleted or anonymized. A deletion request may not remove records that must be retained by law. Contact us for information about the retention period applicable to a particular record.

7. Security and international processing

Protecting customer information requires appropriate access controls and technical and organizational safeguards. No online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please keep your account credentials private and notify us if you suspect unauthorized account activity.

We are a US business, and service providers involved in order processing or website operations may process information in other countries. Where cross-border transfer requirements apply, the relevant safeguards must be in place. Contact us for details about the recipients and transfer safeguards applicable to your information.

8. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on your location and the laws applicable to our business, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of certain advertising-related uses or disclosures.

To make a request, email support@outloudmerch.com with the subject “Privacy Request”. Explain your request and provide the email address associated with your interaction or order. We may need reasonable information to verify your identity or an authorized agent’s authority before acting.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law. If a request cannot be fulfilled, we will explain the reason and any available appeal process. You may also have a right to complain to your local data protection authority. Exercising a legally protected privacy right will not result in unlawful discrimination.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on performing a contract for order fulfillment, legal obligations for required records, legitimate interests for proportionate security and service administration, and consent where required for optional activities.

9. Children’s privacy

Our store is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Any higher age threshold required by applicable law also applies.

10. External services and policy changes

External websites and services have their own privacy practices. Review their notices when you use them. We may update this policy to reflect changes in our operations or legal requirements and will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.
